The ego clutch on things,
It creates attachments
to the things,
people, ideas,
And everything.

It felt it could control.
The lie we tell ourselves,
When all it wants is
to keep us safe,

A good servant
and a bad master,

Control is when
we have a grip on ourselves,
Using our will on ourselves
To propel and realize
Our dreams and desire
Without having to exert
Our will on others.
For the harm of none,
For the love of all.

Internal locus of Control
Is when we
Accounts for who we are,
being in the full expression
And where we are soul.
Where the ego has
Little to no room for it.

For what others
Would think of
Who we think we are.
When we have
no qualms
Embodying the soul.
